Definition of Game Status
New
A game that has just begun the sanctioning process and the liaison
has yet to report on the games' status to the Controller. This
status is also given to games that have not received subcommittees
yet.
Storyline
A game that has a title page and a basic outline of what the GW
plans to do. Appendix A contains a checklist of what a Storyline
submission should contain.
Active
An active game is a game that is proceeding through the sanctioning
process.
Inactive
An inactive game is a game that has not had a new submission from
the GD in three months (see SC Turnarounds if the SSC is responsible
for the three month delay). A game may also go inactive at the
GD's request. If the game should become active again, it may,
at the GD's discretion, be assigned a new subcommittee.
Dropped
If a game has been inactive for 3 months, it will be dropped from
the SC books. The Controller will inform the GD. The game may
be resubmitted at the GD's discretion.
Intent to Sanction
This game requires only a few minor changes for full sanctioned
status. The game must have a budget and full appendices.
Sanctioned with Changes
If the GD makes the suggested changes then the game will be granted
sanctioned status once the SC liaison confirms that the changes
are made.
Sanctioned
This game has SC approval to run as an IFGS event.
